USO Korea volunteers play a crucial role in supporting service members and their families. As a volunteer, you might help with front desk duties, such as welcoming visitors, answering phones, and providing information. Volunteers also assist with various programs and special events, including Motor Pool Monday, USO Reading Program, Operation Birthday Cake, and Korean Language Classes. Additionally, volunteers may be involved in outreach activities, distributing care packages, snacks, and drinks to communities around the peninsula. Administrative support roles are also available, where volunteers help with record-keeping, organization, and other tasks. PIEF hosts language exchanges, speech contests, and volunteer-led English classes. They are always looking for volunteers for their Talk Cafe, which helps students of all levels learn and practice English. Homeward Bound Animal Shelter is a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to finding homes for pets in the Osan AB & USAG Humphreys community. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer alone or younger with supervision. Established in March 2011, the shelter operates solely on volunteer support and donations.
